North Carolina FC (1 [+0])The worst showing from the U23s in league play so far. Not much to write about from their game against the Lazers. Back to back weeks with no goal draws is alarming. Could we be seeing a change at the top soon?
Next Match:@ San Lee FC — Battle for first place! This is the first these two clubs are facing off in league play. The U23s will have to find their form from the first two weeks if they want to hold off San Lee.

San Lee FC (2[+0]) — San Lee remains just out of reach of the top slot for another week. Can’t help but to be disappointed with a zero goal draw with Raleigh Inter. I had gotten used to seeing San Lee score goals.
Next Match: vs NCFCU23 — I’m really excited to see how this match plays out. San Lee had been on a rise the past two weeks while the U23s slipped, but both recorded no goal draws in week 4.

Lazers SC (3[+0]) — I wavered on the next two ranks for a while, but ultimately decided that Lazers have been more consistent and are riding into week five as one of only three clubs that still don’t have a tick in the L column. Their game against the U23s was overall uninspiring, but I have the expectation from this club to be able to dig in and take at least a point in every game now.
Next Match: @ Wake FC — First we had first and second place playing, now we have third and fourth? This is going to be a fun week! Let me get back to the game itself though. Lazers haven’t been consistent goal scorers, so they will need to capitalize on the chances that Wake gives them if they want to walk away with all three points.

Wake FC (4 [+0]) — An interesting result this past week. Wake seems to be a hot/cold team and I think Tobacco caught them on a cold week. I’m keeping them at the middle for now, but not scoring against Tobacco is concerning.
Next Match: @ Moros FC — A golden opportunity to get points from a team that seems to be falling after a strong start. Will Wake be hot or cold this week is the question.

Raleigh International FC (5[+1]) — I might have been sleeping on Raleigh Inter, if I’m being honest. They haven’t put up the numbers that other clubs have or been running up the points total, but they have had back to back draws against the top two clubs in the league going into week five.
Next Match: @ Tobacco Road FC — Raleigh Inter is up against a rising Tobacco Road team this week and…wait a minute…the fifth and sixth teams are up against each other as well? This week keeps getting better! In all seriousness, I think Raleigh Inter has a real chance to walk away with their first three points in this match.

Tobacco Road FC (6[+2]) — Biggest jump this week. Tobacco Road proved me wrong by walking out with a strong two goal performance that netted them their first three points. They’re now sitting at just under top four. Quite an improvement!
Next Match: vs Raleigh Inter — Tobacco had a big jump and now needs to maintain that momentum. Unfortunate that they are up against a team that has held the top two teams to scoreless draws. A point might be all the Durham side can take this week.

Moros FC (7[-2]) — Egg on my face. I was really high on Moros early on as the darkhorse pick. One good thing is that Moros has scored in back to back weeks. The bad news is that they have had six goals scored on them in the same amount of time.
Next Match: @ SOSA FC — Wrapping up our table pairings are numbers seven and eight. Will Moros grab onto a ledge before their free fall reaches the bottom of the table?

SOSA FC (8[-1]) — I finally joined Zack and put SOSA at the bottom of my rankings. They have struggled to get draws against clubs at the bottom of the table and suffered a crippling loss against a surprising Tobacco Road. They are one of the only two clubs without a win going into week five so I would expect them to be desperate.
Next Match: vs Moros FC — Every game is a make or continue to break game when you are at the bottom, but it isn’t every week that you get the chance to snatch three points from the team right above you. If they don’t get a win here I worry they won’t be able to find their footing in time to turn the season around.

North Carolina FC U23 (1[+0]) — Another draw from the U23 side this week. Still at the top of my rankings for sitting at the top of the table. The boys need to watch out for a hot San Lee coming their way.
Next Match: @ San Lee FC — Best game of the week incoming. Both teams sit at 8 points so this is going to be a fun one. Strap in folks.

San Lee FC (2[+0]) — San Lee back in second place for me as they get another draw. Still good for me as points are points and thats what you need to stay at the top. Think they should've got the win over Inter but a draw is still solid.
Next Match: vs NCFCU23 — Pumped for Week 4. This is going to be a defining game for San Lee and 3 points would be massive heading back to Sanford Saturday night.

Wake FC (3 [+1]) — Great game for Wake FC. They really needed a big win to impress me again. Moros is dropping but a big win was what I needed to see from Wake.
Next Match: vs Lazers SC— Want to impress me again Wake? Heres a perfect opportunity to. Second best game of the week for me.

Lazers SC (4 [-1]) — Wake had a big week even though Lazers were able to hold off a strong NCFC side. Garner shouldn't be too upset with dropping one stop this week.
Next Game: @ Wake FC — Lazers need a W to jump back into that 3rd spot next week. Going to be a tough tough game after Wake FC had a hot game in Week 3. Make sure to turn in for this one.

Tobacco Road FC (5[+2]) — Huge win for Durham over the weekend. TRFC need that win to push for mid table and they were able to get it done. Still have lots of work to do.
Next Match: vs Raleigh Inter — Another chance to make a big impact. #5 vs #6. Big chance or either side to make a big jump.

Raleigh International FC (6[+0]) — Inter is sitting at a good spot for only being in 6th. Still have some work to do but only one win out from being in that concersation. The questions is can they get the job done?
Next Match: @ Tobacco Road FC — Inter will face a Tobacco Road side that is coming off a hot win in Week four. Need to cool them off and get the job done if they want to make an impact in the table. 1–1draw for me this week.

Moros FC (7[-2]) — Moros keeps on falling. They have the skills but their defense is holding them back. Need to make some changes come Week 5.
Next Match: @ Sosa FC— Perfect game to make a comeback in the table. Sosa hasn't been able to make anything happen quite yet but dont need to find out if they can. Get the job done and move up.

SOSA FC (8[-0]) — Well Week 4 was not fun for Sosa. They needed a win to move out of last place but they are given another chance at that this week. Sosa needs to put all of their chances together if they want to move up.
Next Match: vs Moros FC — Another make it or break it game for Sosa. Would hate to see them blow this one. Moros has been struggling since Week 2 so I would like to think its possible for Sosa.
